I have loads of photos sitting on my desk, and I just never got around to them over the holidays!...There is always something else to do over Christmas break-- even if it was just relaxing on the couch watching old seasons of Hell's Kitchen with Phil:). Little crafty breaks are sort of refreshing, though. It is a nice feeling to dive back into all the mess and create something again! These two pages are the first smashing I've done in forever...
Scrapbooking and coloring and smashing are like old friends.
You just pick up where you left off...
And a cup of Jo is always nice to add to the mix, too:).
Speaking of which, gonna go brew a cup and get over to my desk!
Night:).

Awesome pages! You inspire me with your "smashing"!
ReplyDeletelove it! :)Irene Wibowo

Cool pages, Krista! And it's because of your blog that two 11 year old girls are getting a ton of smash book stuff for Christmas!!! My niece and her new step sister are each getting a ton of stuff to start smashing with from us for Christmas! We haven't gotten to see them yet, and I'm excited to see what they will do with it! I may even give it a go this year!!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Teri
Love these, Krista! I love the "You R My ... Home" that is very sweet. Great pages!!
ReplyDeleteI got super gung-ho with scrapbooking using remnants from our engagement/wedding, including the gift wrapping and ribbons, rsvp cards, real photos, receipts, etc. I mean, super full blast. And then one day, I just. stopped.
ReplyDeleteMaybe one day I will feel the urge to drag it back out. I think I would work on it more if I had the space. Right now, it's all contained in a huge rubbermaid, so I don't want to go through the effort of digging it all back out.
Yours looks great {and fun}!
I have been thinking I should pull out my smash book, haven't in a long while. It's a feel good kinda thing for sure.
ReplyDeleteGreat pages!
I love your pages. I haven't been able to work in my Smash forever and probably wont for at least another month. :(
ReplyDeleteI have never smashed--I guess I'm behind the times. Cute pic of you and Phil, and cute digi, too!!! Is it new? Love the blue 'do!!!
ReplyDeleteSo cute- I have great dreams about doing a Copic Smashbook but just haven't gotten around to it. But your pages are always a great reminder that I need to at least start it :) Glad you had a relaxing holiday and got to recharge doing family stuff. Hugs, Katie
