Wow...what a blessing that would be....we dont get back any tax money and that was a big shock for us...if i won the money I would use it to help my son who is in bible college pay to fix his car...and pay off a few medical bills....!What a blessing it would be for anyone!
ReplyDeleteI would use the money to pay off some of the medical bills I still have that came about from having uterine cancer (surgery, chemo and radiation) in 2011. I'm still paying for it, so winning this money would take a huge weight off my shoulders and mean some financial freedom for me. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to win! xo
ReplyDeletewith 1500$ i would seriously revamp my storage in my craft room its all kinds wonky and willy-nilly right now also i would be able to finish the painting and decorating, the ceiling needs to be done so bad. there was animals living in my roof and when we got it redone just about a month ago they found giant poo piles and it is stained thru onto my ceiling. thankfully with the redo no more animals can get in and no more leaks, but now i need some killz and paint really bad.

ReplyDeleteShould I be lucky enough to win, it would go towards my nephew, Kam's, medical bills. He was born with severe Congenital Heart Defects and has deteriorated rapidly over the past 12-18 months. He's now in need of a Heart (possibly Heart and Lung) transplant, but first he needs re-constructive surgery to correct some of the defects to allow a healthy heart to fit and connect to his other organs. We've from the UK but the surgery he needs isn't possible so we're raising money to cover the medical bills.

Wow, what a generous giveaway. I would use the money to pay for our travel to bring our daugther home from Haiti, and with what's left, if any, I would be able to pay for her medical expenses. She needs extensive testing because she's coming from an orphanage with parasites, malnutrition and other health issues. We have been in the process of adopting her for 2 years and she can come home in about 3 weeks, as soon as her VISA is completed! Over the past year, we've been living paycheck to paycheck while paying for the adoption expenses. Several months ago we got hit with a 20% pay reduction by my husbands miser boss. Thank God the adoption fees are all paid, but we have nothing left for travel. Well, except for borrowing and getting into even more debt. Please help unite this family. Thanks.

The military does not pay well and my daughter has been unable to work for the last 3 years and is facing more surgery so this would certainly brighten their day! Bless you guys for doing this.

ReplyDeleteIf I were so lucky, I'd use it to buy some Saturated Canary digis/rubber, donate a little to Autism Speaks, pay some bills, buy some new clothes & shoes for my sons who can't seem to stay in one size for very long, enjoy a date night out with my amazing husband, and finally, last but not least, hopefully start up a Etsy site (or something similar) and sell the cards I have been stashing away so I can continue buying more scrapbook/card/stamping stuff LOL.

$1500 is a lot of money! I don't know what I'd do with it--probably put it in the bank until I really needed it, or until someone else I know really needed it. ReplyDeleteI'd like to say that I would use the whole thing to pay bills, but I know me better than that! I'd pay off our current astronomical electric bill at least, and I'd probably replace both mine and hubby's laptops. Whatever else was left I'd likely blow at the craft store...LOL ;)

We are adopting three small children (2 boys & 1 girl) out of our local foster care system. The funds would be used for them. We would redo two bedrooms to fit their personalities. We would also use any leftover funds to take them to Disney World. They all are fans of the Disney animated movies, and are asking to visit Disney almost on a daily basis.

Wow, well if I won 1500 they, would go to fixing our house that has "broken". During this winter mold has startet to come on our wall, because of water dripping in. So the money would go to getting a healtier Home. Sorry my English isn't the best.

ReplyDeleteOy my goodness, what would I do with an extra $1500.00? That's a hard question. I work on a small paediatric ward as a registered nurse and we have 8 rooms, 6 of which have the most ancient TV's of all times in them. They don't have remotes (which suck for the kids that can not get out of bed). Some of them are missing buttons so you can not adjust the volume... they are just plain OLD, yet we make do...... I would buy new TV's for the 6 rooms that need them {the other 2 have had donations of new flat screen TV's}.... I think the kids would {heart} that!

ReplyDeleteAltruistic or selfish? Yep. We always take for granted that our vehicles start and run properly every morning, especially in winter. Right now, I have almost no heat (this sucks with MN Winters being so cold), need a new blower motor, and need to have the dash rewired so the gauges work properly. Also, I desperately need new tires.

ReplyDeleteWow....my list is long! Since I lost my job 2 1/2 years ago things have been very tight financially. Since I am disabled my health seems to deteriorate every year so getting a job seems to get harder every month. My daughter graduates from high school this year and if I win I would use the money to have her senior pictures,taken because i have not been able to,afford to have them done yet. I have always been a huge picture taker and the thought of her not having senior pictures weighs heavily on me every day. The rest of the money I would use to put together a " graduation party/celebration" for her and hopefully purchase a graduation gift for her.

ReplyDeleteThe first thing that came to mind was a vacation. It would be great to take my son Giovanni to Disney for the first time for his 3rd birthday in October. I would surprise my husband with having booked the hotel and getting tickets to at least 2 theme parks. There would be enough left over to pay for food and gas for the week. Oh what a great treat it would be!!
Or, I can pay rent for 1 month.
Or, I can give $150 to tithed in my church and spend the rest on clothes for the entire family at Old Navy.

My car was hit by a driver who ran a red light the first of January. God is humbling me out through it all so I've been blessed. But now I have a totaled car that needs to be paid off and the insurance can't do anything until the police report is complete...which is still being investigated.

I would save some for my grandson so he can go to university when he is grown up, so he can have a bright future... and also a little for myself to do some crafting things,still have so much whishes:))))

ReplyDeleteAn operation in 2011 left me with persistent pelvic pain of which I was unable to stand for long periods of time. Six months later and unable to work my employer terminated my employment which to add to the pain was a big kick in the teeth! I had further surgery one year later in 2012 with a six month recovery time. It is such a struggle to find employment these days and struggling I am. My husband is having to work 70 hours a week to pay the mortgage and to be able to keep the home running.
Thank you for the chance to win this incredible amount of money. It would mean that my hubby could have a well earned rest!

Wow thats a good chunck of money. I would love to splurge on crafty things but 2 of my kiddies need braces. So the $1500 would have to go into the first phase of braces for my girl. It would not pay for the whole thing but would make the payments a little lighter. Maybe I can upgrade my copic storage (currently using old chinese takeaway boxes) and not feel too guilty if I won.

ReplyDeleteOk this is a crazy prize..but boy could I use this I have started a journey on getting healthy..I am working out on a daily basis, following a diet all of this due to some medical things I am going through..so as a result I have started to lose some weight and inches are coming off and the end result is clothing is getting very loose..My goal is to lose 100lbs to be healthy and strong...thin is a bonus but not my ultimate goal...So I guess you could say some new clothes and help pay my gym membership....

ReplyDeleteI guess I would go on vacation. My husband has been dealing with PTSD and Conversion Disorder (He has been blind, lost use of his legs and his whole body was paralyzed.) Although he is ok now, we never know when this will hit him and we both need a vacation to relax and spend some good time together. It would be wonderful!

My brakes on my car need fixed, I have no health insurance so now all prescriptions, dr visits are on me. Lost my job 3 years ago(after 25 years), but I'm still alive and kicking! ReplyDeletesince today is the one year anniversary of my breast cancer discovery, I would do something special with my family as a way of saying thank you to them for the love and support they have given to me over this past year. they have lifted me up on my most down and difficult days. I have seen pain and sadness in their eyes that I would never hope to see again. if for only one day I could bring some kind of happiness to their lives as a way to say thank you for loving me when I was most unlovable, I would do it in a heartbeat.
and then any left over would go to my church. they have done so much for me and my family. they have provided in ways I can not even begin to count.
okay, I had better stop because now I am getting weepy all over my keyboard. just thinking about it is making my heart happy! and that means more to me than anything, Krista. thank you! :)

The surgery is still in progress and she has completed the second surgery two weeks ago. The surgery has required her to have a tummy tuck in order to use the stomach muscle to create her a new breast. So with this surgery, she is now unable to fit into any of her old clothes. And with my income, I am unable to really do something as spectacular as I would like especially since I chip in to help with her medication and medical costs. Winning this prize would help to contribute to my mother's new transformation into her stronger, more beautiful person.
